The Phillies took care of the Mets for the second straight game, needing Ryan Howard’s two-run walk-off homer in the 10th to close New York’s NL East lead to four games.
Howard, who finished 3-for-5, hit a 1-2 pitch deep the opposite way into the left field seats for his 35th homer of the year.
